Be Part of a New Church in Břeclav

Together, we are planting a church where people encounter Jesus, discover their identity in Him, build authentic relationships, and become lifelong disciples.

We believe God is doing something new in Břeclav, and we'd love to invite you to be part of the story.

Who We Are

Wave Church is a growing church community in Břeclav, united by a shared faith in Jesus and a desire to see our city transformed by the hope of the Gospel. We are passionate about creating a church where people can belong, encounter Jesus, and discover His purpose for their lives.

Although we are still at the beginning of this journey, we are encouraged by how God continues to bring new people and open new doors.

Wave Church is being planted as part of the Czech Apostolic Church, a member of the worldwide Assemblies of God fellowship.

Our Vision

We share a common dream — to build a vibrant church where people discover their identity in Christ, grow in faith, develop their gifts, and positively impact the world around them.

Our aim is to create a space where people can meet, share, and grow – not only spiritually, but also mentally and socially. We also seek to build a church that feels like a natural part of the city.

Our doors are open to everyone, but we are especially focused on families with children and young people, to whom we want to offer space for growth and connection.

Our Journey So Far

Over the past year, we have seen God faithfully opening new doors.

What began as a small launch team of 7 people has grown into a developing church community.

Today:

• 15–20 adults gather regularly for worship

• Around 10 children are part of Wave Kids

• Every other Sunday we meet at the Břeclav City Library.

One of the highlights of this year was our Easter celebration at the local cinema, where around 200 people joined us—including friends, families, and believers from other churches across the city.

We continue to be encouraged by new people who visit our services and community events. As more people hear about Wave Church, our greatest desire is not simply to see attendance grow, but to help people become lifelong disciples of Jesus.

Looking Ahead

We believe this is only the beginning.

In the coming season, our focus is to strengthen our discipleship pathway—helping people move from simply attending church to becoming active followers of Jesus who grow in faith, discover their gifts, and become part of God's mission.

We also look forward to serving our city through community events such as our annual Kite Festival, Thanksgiving Dinner, and Christmas Concert, creating natural opportunities to build relationships and share the hope of the Gospel.

As Wave Church continues to grow, we are praying for more people who will partner with us through prayer, encouragement, and financial support.

Every healthy church is built by people who choose to pray, serve, give, and believe together.

Some are part of the local team here in Břeclav. Others live in different cities or even different countries. Yet together, we become part of the same story that God is writing in our city.
